SYTOX™ Green Ready Flow™ Reagent is a bright, easy-to-use nucleic acid dye for use in flow cytometry Differentiate living cells. At an excitation wavelength of 488 nm, its emission spectrum is similar to that of FITC, which has been tested in a variety of cell lines.

SYTOX Green Ready Flow Reagent is a ready-to-use solution that stains dead cells directly. Add 2 drops of reagent directly to 1 x 10⁶ cells, then incubate and analyze.

SYTOX Green is a membrane-impermeable dye that can enter cells and bind to DNA only when the membrane is incomplete. Therefore, when used as a counterstain, it can excite at 488 nm and 523 nm. The emission wavelength captured at the nm peak is analyzed. SYTOX Green reagents are available for mammalian and bacterial cells and are commonly used in multiplex assays.
