The pBAD/His kit provides all the reagents needed to express proteins in a tightly regulated manner. The vector pBAD/His allows you to express your protein using an N-terminal tag. This vector provides:

• Optimized translation initiation signal for E. coli expression
• N-terminal polyhistidine (6xHis) tag for purification using nickel chelating resin and detection with anti-HisG antibodies
• N-terminal Xpress™ epitope for detection by anti-Xpress™ antibodies Perform detection and analysis
• Enterokinase cleavage site for N-terminal tag removal after purification

Three vectors available (A, B and C). Each vector has N-terminal tags in different reading frames relative to multiple cloning sites to simplify in-frame cloning of genes.
