Phytohemagglutinin-L (PHA-L) solution (500X) is a soluble in aqueous buffer Ready-to-use PHA-L solution. PHA is a mixture of lectins isolated from red kidney beans (i.e. Phaseolus vulgaris). PHA-L is a part of PHA that can produce strong white blood cell agglutination reaction and mitogenic activity, but has almost no red blood cell agglutination reaction activity. This reagent is designed for in vitro activation of human and mouse leukocytes.
